MATISSE
The psychological dimension of the beginning of everything is the state of innocence. It is not naivety, but rather a deliberate openness and availability that emerge from all the deaths and rebirths we experience. When we put ourselves back together after being wounded. When we decide to trust again. Henri Matisse was a master of deliberated innocence. Through wars and sicknesses, he always came back to the sturdy freshness that defines his work.
